Owner Neil Persad of Clarks Summit's landmark health food store Everything Natural is no stranger to the health industry having dedicated his life to individuals wellness. Having over 25 years representing some of the highest quality supplement companies and owning another store, Nature’s Harvest, in Blairstown, New Jersey, Mr. Persad decided to take his knowledge to the people.

“I stand for healthy living; I am very paionate in what I do,” he said. “This is who I am. My lifestyle goes beyond eating, I strongly believe in protecting the environment. This is my element.”

Part of Mr. Persad’s and his wife Hema, future plans for Everything Natural, includes installing a juice and smoothie bar,  offering prepared sandwiches and soups. The store also accommodates signature events, such as open houses, holistic health fairs and special guest speakers.

“In the health food industry, you keep evolving,” Neil said. “I plan to help improve the quality of people’s lives through growth and continued education."

“I’m a person who wakes up every morning feeling great,” states Neil. “The way I was raised allowed me to never be sick in my life. That’s part of what drew me to the health food industry. I look forward to getting up and coming to work. It is natural for me to be here. It’s not a job, it’s my hobby.”

“It’s not the standard of life, it’s the quality of life that’s important making a difference in people’s lives, that’s what we’re here for. The human connection is what is important.”
